Basketball Recap: Pond Creek-Hunter Comes Up Short

Pond Creek-Hunter lost against Dover last Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Pond Creek-Hunter Panthers took a 42-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dover Longhorns. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 358th, while the Longhorns are ranked 178th).

Pond Creek-Hunter has been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season. As for Dover, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a massive bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pond Creek-Hunter will host Garber at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Dover, they will welcome Okeene at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
