Basketball Recap: Tunstall Comes Up Short

Tunstall lost against George Washington back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tunstall Trojans took a 56-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the George Washington Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 262nd, while the Eagles are ranked 36th).

Tunstall dropped their record down to 7-16 with the loss, which was their third straight at home. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points over those games. As for George Washington, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-3.

As of now, neither Tunstall nor George Washington have any future games scheduled.
