After losing to McCallum the last time they met, Cedar Creek decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Cedar Creek Eagles slipped by the McCallum Knights 49-48 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Eagles.

Cedar Creek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kenji Franklin, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which Franklin has scored at least a third of Cedar Creek's points. Another player making a difference was Braydon Adams, who posted 13 points and seven boards.

Cedar Creek has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 17-14 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.8 points per game. As for McCallum, they moved to 19-9 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Cedar Creek will look to defend their home court on Friday against Liberal Arts & Science Academy - Austin at 8:00 p.m. As for McCallum, they will challenge Bastrop at 8:00 p.m. on February 4th.
