Lodi had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Franklin Yellowjackets. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Flames have posted since April 3, 2025.

Devin `Bono paced Lodi's offense, picking up eight kills. `Bono got some help from Tyler Protz and his 17 assists. Protz was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.

Despite the defeat, Franklin had strong showings from Bryan Angulo, who had 14 digs, and Edgar Paredes, who had ten kills, six digs, four blocks, and three aces. Paredes is on a roll when it comes to kills, as he's now had five or more in each of the last six games he's played.

Lodi's victory bumped their record up to 6-8. As for Franklin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-5 record this season.

Lodi didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against El Capitan on the 14th. As for Franklin, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Lincoln on the 14th.
