Volleyball Recap: Burrillville Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Burrillville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Barrington Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Broncos of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-10, 25-8.

Anna Muehlbauer went supernova For Barrington., getting 14 assists and 13 aces. Those 13 aces gave Muehlbauer a new career-high. Julea Giguere also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Burrillville's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Barrington, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Burrillville will face off against rival West Warwick at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Barrington is set to challenge their familiar foe Pilgrim at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
