Soccer Recap: Milton Comes Up Short

Milton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Belleville Wildcats. While losing is never fun, Milton can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin soccer rankings (they are ranked 114th, while Belleville are ranked 34th).

Milton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8-2. As for Belleville, they pushed their record up to 11-2 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Milton will host Watertown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Belleville, they will be playing at home against Wisconsin Heights at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
