After a string of three wins, the American Prep WV Eagles's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They took a serious blow against Rockwell, falling 59-22. American Prep WV was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-7.
Despite the loss, American Prep WV still got an impressive performance from Nicole Tran, who scored 11 points.
American Prep WV now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Rockwell, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season.
American Prep WV will look to defend their home court on Monday against Intermountain Christian at 5:15 p.m. American Prep WV's defense has only allowed 29.1 points per game this season, so Intermountain Christian's offense will have their work cut out for them.
