Recap: Four Corners Coyotes vs. Santa Fe Catholic Hawks

The Four Corners Coyotes and the Santa Fe Catholic Hawks squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but sadly the Four Corners Coyotes had to settle for second. They had to suffer through a rough 78-20 loss at the hands of the Hawks. While losing is never fun, Four Corners can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 611th, while Santa Fe Catholic is ranked 31st).

Santa Fe Catholic's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Hudson Dykhuizen, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Danilo Stankovic, who scored 13 points.

Four Corners' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Santa Fe Catholic, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 22-4 record this season.

Four Corners does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Santa Fe Catholic, they will be playing at home against Seffner Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
