Preview: Hershey Trojans vs. New Oxford Colonials
The Hershey Trojans will head out on the road to face off against the New Oxford Colonials at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hershey is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
Hershey gave up the first points last Friday, but they didn't let that get them down. They won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Exeter Township 28-27.
Hershey can attribute much of their success to Derek Guzman, who gained 204 total yards, and Angel Cabrera, who rushed for 183 yards and four touchdowns.
Meanwhile, New Oxford put the finishing touches on their sixth blowout victory of the season two weeks ago. They blew past Eastern York 29-8. Given New Oxford's advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 108th, while Eastern York is ranked 275th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Their wins bumped Hershey to 8-3 and New Oxford to 9-1.
