St. Bernard put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against the Ferndale Wildcats by a score of 8-5. Eight seems to be a good number for the Crusaders as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

St. Bernard's gave Saehwan Kwon the start and clearly made the right call: he pitched 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Teyler Bailey relieved him and did a solid job, tossing 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off six hits.

At the plate, Luke Brunton was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Michael Manzi, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI.

St. Bernard's win bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Ferndale, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

St. Bernard's will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Wildcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
