Basketball Recap: Tiffany Gaona Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Bulls College Prep

Noble Street College Prep lost to Bulls College Prep back in December of 2016, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Noble Street College Prep Golden Tigers skirted past the Bulls College Prep Bulls 26-24. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Golden Tigers.

Noble Street College Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Tiffany Gaona, who posted four points and ten rebounds. Gaona has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last nine times she's played. Olivia Moore-Bozeman was another key player, putting up five points and seven rebounds.

Despite the defeat, Bulls College Prep saw an underclassman step up: freshman Rihanna Baines earned eight points.

Noble Street College Prep's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Bulls College Prep, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11.
