Baseball Recap: Mt. Shasta Comes Up Short

Mt. Shasta's tournament run continued when they took on Carson on Wednesday. The Bears fell 10-5 to the Senators.

Hayden Porteous made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI. BEN KENNEDY also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Mt. Shasta now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Carson, their victory bumped their record up to 7-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mt. Shasta will take on Los Molinos at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Carson, they will face off against Douglas at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
