Volleyball Recap: Gary West Side Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Gary West Side can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors on Thursday. The defeat leaves the Cougars still looking for their first win of the season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hammond Bishop Noll to victory, but perhaps none more so than Lilly Gonzalez, who had ten assists and three aces. McKenzie Campbell also deserves some recognition as she posted her first assist of the season.

Gary West Side's loss dropped their record down to 0-15. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 20-13.

Gary West Side does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hammond Bishop Noll, they will challenge Calumet New Tech at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
