Volleyball Recap: William Selis and Jacoby Forbes Secure Win for Penn

Penn had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They came out on top against the South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies by a score of 3-1. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 2-1 victory on Saturday.

Penn had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-20, 25-23, 25-23.

Leading Penn to victory were Jacoby Forbes and William Selis. Forbes had seven kills and five blocks, while Selis had 20 digs. Those seven kills gave Forbes a new career-high.

Penn now has a winning record of 10-9. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they moved to 11-13 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Penn will host South Bend Riley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they will be playing at home against Granger Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
