Basketball Game Preview: Olympus Titans vs. East Leopards

Olympus has gone 8-2 against East recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Olympus Titans will face off against the East Leopards at 7:00 p.m. Olympus is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.6 points per game this season.

Olympus came up into this matchup off a tough 30-point defeat on Tuesday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Alta by a score of 57-55 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Titans have suffered since February 6, 2024.

Despite the defeat, Olympus got top-tier performance from Joss Baker, who almost dropped a double-double on 25 points and nine rebounds. Baker has been hot for a while, having posted eight or more boards the last 19 times she's played. Tessa Cromar was another key player, putting up 12 points in addition to five rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for East, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Highland on Friday as East made off with a 45-25 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Leopards as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Olympus' loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 6-6. As for East, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-11.

Olympus took their victory against East when the teams last played back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 64-38. Will Olympus repeat their success, or does East have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
