NATOMA, Kan. -
Natoma (Kan.) had its advantage, which at one point stood at 13 points, drop to seven before the final whistle blew on a 41-34 victory over
Logan (Kan.).
The Tigers were up 29-22 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Jackson Stull meiers in the first quarter.
Both teams scored six points in the third quarter, so the margin remained at seven entering the fourth.
Stull meiers played well for Natoma in the victory. The junior wide receiver ran for two touchdowns and caught one touchdown.
Brett Pinkerton made a difference for the Trojans. The junior quarterback ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.
NHS got revenge for last year's 58-46 loss to Logan with the victory.
Natoma (3-5) goes up against St. John's/Tipton Catholic in a Northern Plains (8 Man) game matchup next week, while Logan (2-6) locks horns with Stockton in a non-conference game.
