Football Game Preview: Red Cloud vs. Hampton

Red Cloud will look to defend their home turf on Thursday against Hampton at 7:00 PM. Hampton will need to watch out since Red Cloud have now posted big point totals in their last three contests.

You're bound to get a positive result if you outscore your opponent every quarter, and that's exactly how it played out between Red Cloud and Silver Lake. Red Cloud took the match and then some with a 53-7 win last Friday over Silver Lake. With Red Cloud ahead 34-0 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Hampton took a serious blow against Heartland Lutheran, falling 0-51. This makes it the second loss in a row for Hampton.

Red Cloud's victory lifted them to 3-1 while Hampton's defeat dropped them down to 1-3. In their victory, Red Cloud relied heavily on sophomore Quinston Larson, who rushed for 222 yards and 4 touchdowns. Hampton will need to find a way to minimize his impact if they want to win.
