Volleyball Game Preview: East Noble Knights vs. Columbia City Eagles

The East Noble Knights will head out on the road to challenge the Columbia City Eagles at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.

East Noble lost 3-0 to New Haven on Wednesday. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While East Noble had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-23, 25-19.

Meanwhile, Columbia City entered their tilt with Huntington North on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Vikings. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since March 24th.

Columbia City took Huntington North into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 17-25, 23-25, 25-10, 15-12.

Columbia City's win bumped their record up to 11-6. As for East Noble, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

East Noble came up short against Columbia City in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, falling 3-1. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
