Fort Wayne Snider dropped their record down to 6-11 on Thursday, which also ended the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 5-1 to the Homestead Spartans. Having soared to a lofty 12 runs in the game before, the Panthers couldn't push the score so high this time.

Fort Wayne Snider saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Ryan, who went 2-for-3 with one run.

As for Homestead, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.9 runs over those games.
