Las Vegas has gone a perfect 3-0 against Sunrise Mountain recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will square off against the Miners at 6:00 p.m. Las Vegas will be looking to extend their current seven-game winning streak.

Las Vegas took a three-set defeat the last time they faced off against The Meadows School, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wildcats came out on top in a nail-biter against the Mustangs on Thursday, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Wildcats have posted since August 29th.

Las Vegas wouldn't go down easily and took The Meadows School into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 13-25, 25-17, 25-17, 18-25, 15-11.

Among those leading the charge was Veanka Escobedo, who had 15 digs and three aces.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Sunrise Mountain, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Indian Springs on Thursday. The Miners not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 14th (when they won 3-0).

Sunrise Mountain was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-11, 25-23.

Las Vegas' record is now 16-8. As for Sunrise Mountain, their record now sits at 3-12.

Las Vegas beat Sunrise Mountain 2-0 in their previous meeting back in August of 2018. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Miners have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
