Basketball Recap: Spencer Picks Up Third Straight Win on the Road

Spencer had won two straight road games and Autumn Davis did her part to make it three on Monday. The Spencer Rockets claimed a resounding 56-26 win over the Abbotsford Falcons thanks in part to Davis, who went 6 of 15 on her way to 22 points along with six assists and six steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Spencer's points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Carmen Krause, who posted eight points in addition to six boards and three steals. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in points.

Spencer's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Abbotsford, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Spencer will be playing in front of their home fans against Colby at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Abbotsford, they will venture away from home to take on Newman at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
