Baseball Recap: Waggener Sets Scoring Season-High Against Francis Parker

Waggener barely beat Francis Parker the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats blew past the Wyverns 17-4 on Monday. The Wildcats' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

The team relied heavily on Logan Janiszewski, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three stolen bases, and four runs. The team also got some help courtesy of Carsen Ruwe, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base.

Waggener always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .655. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Waggener's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Francis Parker, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
