Soccer Recap: Columbia Triumphs

After low-scoring totals in their previous three game, Columbia brought some dynamite into their most recent contest. They never let the Payette Pirates get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Tuesday. It was an even better day for Bailey Robertson as she scored three goals for her team.

Columbia's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2-1. As for Payette, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Columbia will welcome Caldwell at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Columbia will be up against Caldwell's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.6 goals per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Payette, they will be playing at home against Fruitland at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
