The Pueblo South Colts will take on the Harrison Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Pueblo South is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 41 points per game this season.
Pueblo South's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They claimed a resounding 44-0 victory over Pueblo Centennial. The squad ran away with 42 points in the first half and mostly just sat on those to pick up the win.

It was another big night for Caeden Herrera, who threw for 135 yards and four touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in passer rating (156.3). Jake Pisciotta was in the mix too, providing Pueblo South with three TDs.
Special teams also played a big role in the game for Pueblo South, adding 18 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Pisciotta, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Pueblo South's defense and their 3.5 sacks. In that department, Chace Hurley was the leader with 2.5.
Meanwhile, Saturday just wasn't the day for Harrison's offense. They lost 21-0 to Discovery Canyon on Saturday. The Panthers have struggled against the Thunder recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
The victory made it two in a row for Pueblo South and bumps their season record up to 5-2. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 points in those games. As for Harrison, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

It's a different story for Harrison, though, as they've been averaging only 240.9 total yards.
