 The Cobre Indians will head out on the road to  take on  the El Paso Leadership Academy East Leaders at 4:00  p.m.  on Wednesday. Cobre is looking to tack on another W to their 11-game streak on the road dating back to last season.
 Cobre stacked  a  fourth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Thursday. They put the hurt on Silver with a sharp  10-2 victory.
  Niko Trujillo was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He  struck out eight batters over  6.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off   four  hits. Trujillo was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with a  triple, a  run,  and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Logan Crotts was  incredible,  scoring two  runs while going 3-for-3. Another player making a difference was  Gavin Chuy, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 1-for-3.
 Meanwhile, El Paso Leadership Academy East put the finishing touches on their eighth blowout victory of the season  on Saturday. They were the clear victor by  an  8-2 margin over Las Cruces.
 The team  relied heavily on  KEVIN OCHOA, who  went 1-for-3 with a  home run and two  runs. The team also got some help courtesy of  FERNANDO CORTEZ, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in all three of his plate appearances.
 Cobre's win bumped their record up to 8-2-1. As for El Paso Leadership Academy East, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won three of their last four matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 12-9 record  this season.
 Cobre came out on top in a nail-biter against El Paso Leadership Academy East  when the teams last played  back in March of 2023, sneaking past  12-10. The rematch might be a little tougher for Cobre since the  team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
