Baseball Game Preview: Ferris Saxons vs. Mt. Spokane Wildcats

For the second straight game, Ferris will face off against Mt. Spokane. The Saxons will take on the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Ferris has given up an average of 8.8 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Ferris came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 13-3 to Mt. Spokane. The Saxons' loss signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Mt. Spokane has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.1 runs over those games. As for Ferris, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
