Basketball Recap: Fall Mountain Extends Winning Streak to Six

Fall Mountain put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 41-24 victory over the Stevens Cardinals. The 41-point effort marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Fall Mountain pushed their record up to 6-0 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Stevens, they are on an eight-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fall Mountain will venture away from home to take on Monadnock at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Fall Mountain's defense has only allowed 18.2 points per game this season, so Monadnock's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Stevens, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Stevens Cardinals face off against the Kearsarge Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Kearsarge will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Stevens surely won't give up without a fight.
