Basketball Recap: Solon Takes a Loss

Solon was the 66-31 winner over Hudson when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Solon Comets were dealt a 66-37 loss at the hands of the Hudson Explorers on Monday. While losing is never fun, the Comets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 480th, while the Explorers are ranked 103rd).

Solon is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. As for Hudson, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-2.

Solon and Archbishop Alter will round out the year against one another at at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday. As for Hudson, they will challenge Worthington Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
