Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addison Sewell and Julia Robinson Lead Bishop Mcnamara to Victory

Bishop McNamara's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bullis Bulldogs. The Mustangs were shut out 3-0 the last time they took on the Bulldogs, so the Mustangs were just returning the favor.

Leading Bishop McNamara to victory were Julia Robinson and Addison Sewell. Robinson had six digs and four aces, while Sewell had seven digs and one assist. What's more, Robinson racked up six assists, the most she's had since back in September of 2024. Alexa Bracey also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Bishop McNamara was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 11 aces. They are 7-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Bishop McNamara now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Bullis, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-11.

Bishop McNamara wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Mount Airy Christian Academy on the 11th. As for Bullis, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Jackson-Reed on the 11th.
