Soccer Recap: Wednesday's Victory Is Cedar Falls' Seventh in Last Eight Outings

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Ankeny Centennial, Cedar Falls was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Prairie Hawks a 1-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 1-0 on May 1st.

Cedar Falls has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-7-2 record this season. As for Prairie, they moved to 8-4-3 with that loss, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Cedar Falls wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 1-0 defeat against Ankeny Christian Academy on the 30th. Prairie does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
