Shawnee came tearing into Friday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They strolled past the Celina Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 35-21. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 23-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

Jj Spyker was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 280 yards and three TDs while completing 71.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 65 yards. Another player making a difference was Matthew Desenberg, who rushed for 47 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Shawnee's record now sits at 4-1. As for Celina, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.
