Hall-Dale barely beat Spruce Mountain the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Phoenix on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Hall-Dale pushed their record up to 13-2 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.7 runs over those games. As for Spruce Mountain, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-7 record this season.
