Lake Placid took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Chazy, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Bombers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over the Eagles on Wednesday. This was a revenge game for the Bombers: when they faced off against the Eagles back in April, they had to take a 13-3 defeat.

Lake Placid has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-7 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 1.33 runs across that stretch. As for Chazy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Placid will square off against Ticonderoga at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Chazy, they will be playing at home against Indian Lake Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
