Softball Recap: Forrest Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Forrest won the last time they faced Cascade and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Rockets walked away with a 6-3 win over the Champions.

Forrest pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Cascade, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Looking ahead, Forrest will head out to face off against Community at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Vikings/Viqueens will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Rockets surely won't give up without a fight. Cascade has already played their next contest (against Eagleville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
