Football Game Preview: Flathead Braves/Bravettes vs. Sentinel Spartans + How To Watch

Flathead hasn't had much luck against Sentinel recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Braves/Bravettes will head out on the road to challenge the Spartans at 7:00 p.m. Flathead has given up an average of 36.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Flathead came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were outmatched by Glacier and fell 56-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Braves/Bravettes were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, while Sentinel put up plenty of points on Thursday, the same can't be said for Capital. The Spartans took their matchup with ease, bagging a 35-0 win over the Bruins. The game marked the Spartans' most dominant victory of the season.

Flathead better keep an eye on Rudy Hess. He was instrumental in Sentinel's win, rushing for 102 yards and a pair of scores, while also throwing for 105 yards on seven of 12 attempts. Those 102 rushing yards gave Hess a new career-high.

Sentinel was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 317 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've managed all season.

Sentinel's record now sits at 5-2. As for Flathead, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.

Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Flathead has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 179.9 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Sentinel struggles in that department as they've been averaging 177.4 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's matchup turns into a tough fight on the ground.

Flathead couldn't quite finish off Sentinel in their previous matchup back in September of 2024 and fell 25-23. Can the Braves/Bravettes avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
