Soccer Recap: Socastee Comes Up Short

Socastee lost against West Florence back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Braves fell just short of the Knights by a score of 4-3.

Shrinil Patel and Braeden Cunningham scored all three of Socastee's goals, bringing their combined season tally to eight goals.

Socastee has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season. As for West Florence, they pushed their record up to 12-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Socastee wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 4-2 victory against Myrtle Beach on the 11th. As for West Florence, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Sumter on the 11th.
