Volleyball Recap: Mount Mercy Academy Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Mount Mercy Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against the Nardin Academy Gators, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Gators this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-11, 25-13.

Riley Coughlin paced Mount Mercy Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Coughlin got some help from Mara McCrea and her eight assists. Sarah Peron controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Mount Mercy Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-18. As for Nardin Academy, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.

Mount Mercy Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nardin Academy, they will face off against Nichols at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
