Point Pleasant Beach lost against Toms River North back in February of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls fell 51-40 to the Toms River North Mariners.

Point Pleasant Beach's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Toms River North, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Point Pleasant Beach will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Toms River South at 5:15 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Toms River North, they will venture away from home to challenge Holmdel at 11:30 a.m. on January 4, 2025.
