Softball Recap: Tomah Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

Tomah had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the nine-run drubbing they dealt Baraboo on Tuesday. The Timberwolves blew past the Thunderbirds 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Timberwolves, who have now won three games by nine runs or more so far this season.

The victory keeps Tomah at an undefeated 4-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 8.5 runs this season. As for Baraboo, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Tomah and Baraboo will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Timberwolves are set to square off against their familiar foe La Crosse Logan at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Baraboo will take on rival Sauk Prairie at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
