Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Christian Takes a Loss

Hillcrest Christian lost against Ojai Valley back in March of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Saints came up short against the Spuds, falling 20-9. The Saints have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hillcrest Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Ojai Valley, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hillcrest Christian will host Sequoyah School at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Saints are facing the Gryphons at the right time seeing as the Gryphons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Ojai Valley, they will take on Cate on Thursday. The Spuds' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Rams have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season.
