Volleyball Game Preview: Taylor Yellowjackets vs. Lebanon Warriors

The Taylor Yellowjackets will challenge the Lebanon Warriors at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Lebanon took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Taylor, who comes in off a win.

On Tuesday, Taylor made easy work of Wyoming and carried off a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Taylor was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-10, 25-10.

Meanwhile, Lebanon lost 3-0 to Loveland on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost six in a row.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Loveland scored at least 17 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-17, 25-20.

Taylor's victory bumped their record up to 7-5. As for Lebanon, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 7-5.

Taylor took their win against Lebanon in their previous meeting back in April of 2023 by a conclusive 3-0 score. Will the Yellowjackets repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
