Softball Recap: Cumberland Dukes vs. Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots
Cumberland had lost 11 straight on the road dating back to last season, but on Thursday they dropped their record down to 2-10 to make it 12. They came up short against the Central Virginia Homeschool Athletic Association Patriots, falling 11-1. The Dukes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Patriots apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.
