Volleyball Game Preview: Illinois Math & Science Academy Titans vs. Wheaton Academy Warriors

Illinois Math & Science Academy hasn't had much luck against Wheaton Academy recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Titans will host the Warriors at 6:15 p.m.

Illinois Math & Science Academy is headed into Monday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Elgin.

While Illinois Math & Science Academy had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Wheaton Academy sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Marmion last Thursday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Wheaton Academy got the one that really mattered. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 21-25, 25-21.

Illinois Math & Science Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Wheaton Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
