Southern Fulton strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on the McConnellsburg Spartans with a sharp 11-1 win. The Indians might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six games by eight runs or more this season.

Trentin Cain made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

In other batting news, Jett Burger was excellent, going 2-for-4 with four RBI. Joel Fitz was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

Southern Fulton pushed their record up to 10-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for McConnellsburg, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Southern Fulton will square off against North Star at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for McConnellsburg, they will face off against Shanksville Stonycreek at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday.
