Volleyball Recap: Orange Glen Comes Up Short

Orange Glen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Escondido Charter Tigers, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Patriots of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-20, 25-20.

Escondido Charter can attribute much of their success to Colin Goss, who had 16 assists and three digs.

Orange Glen's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Escondido Charter, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Orange Glen will take on San Pasqual at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Escondido Charter, they will face off against Coastal Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
