With a playoff win on the line, Franklin Christian Academy rose to the challenge on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 71-57 victory over the Lancaster Christian Academy Knights. This was a revenge game for the Falcons: when they faced off against the Knights last Thursday, they had to take a 68-63 loss.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Josh Whitt, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 23 points and six boards. The matchup was Whitt's 17th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Landon Bragg, who went 5-for-12 en route to 15 points along with seven rebounds and five assists.

Franklin Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.9 points over those games. As for Lancaster Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-4.

Franklin Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 47-40 loss against Lighthouse Christian on the 15th. Lancaster Christian Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
