Ava Avila put up the most strikeouts she's had since back in March on Friday. She struck out 12 batters over six innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 19 consecutive appearances.
