Basketball Recap: Geneva Classical Academy Comes Up Short

They were beaten by the Excel Christian Academy Spartans 65-14. The Knights were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-2.

Leading Excel Christian Academy to victory were Bianca Berbick and Analise DeJesus. Berbick dropped a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards, while DeJesus dropped a double-double with 19 points and ten steals. Those 26 points gave Berbick a new career-high. Aysia Mertz was another key player, putting up three points and seven rebounds.

Geneva Classical Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Excel Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 13-11.
