Volleyball Recap: Gallia Academy Falls Short of Circleville in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Gallia Academy and Circleville squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Gallia Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 3-0. The Blue Devils haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Gallia Academy was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the third set very close. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-23.

Despite the defeat, Gallia Academy saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Chloe Bennett had ten digs. Bennett is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last 23 games she's played.

Having lost for the first time this season, Gallia Academy fell to 24-1. As for Circleville, they pushed their record up to 19-6 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home.

Gallia Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Circleville, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against London on the 30th.
