Basketball Recap: Northfield Takes a Loss

Northfield managed to slip by Eastbrook the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Norsemen were beaten by the Panthers 62-33 on Saturday. The Norsemen were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 31-11.

Northfield lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Cody Holmes, who posted nine points and six boards. Another player making a difference was Breckon Floor, who put up nine points.

Northfield's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northfield will challenge Taylor at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Eastbrook, they will take on Shenandoah at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
